In July 1987, a memorial sign dedicated to Martyn Pushkar has been unveiled in a new residential area Polovky. Two pylons are set upright against the background of trees. Almost at the very top there is a bas-relief portrait of Pushkar, a gifted warlord, friend and devotee of Bohdan Khmelnytsky.

At the foot there is a plaque having the inscription: “To the glorious advocate of unbroken friendship between the Ukrainian and Russian peoples, the first Poltava colonel Martyn Pushkar”.

Authors of the memorial sign are N. G. Kogan, sculptor and Yu. M. Dobrovolsky, architect.
