POLTAVA RECEIVES A NEW FOOTBALL STADIUM BY EURO-2012

City administration is interested in building a new stadium in Poltava, this time – the football one, informed the city major Andriy Matkovskyi during his last live TV broadcast. The funds for construction are given by the investor, who is currently financing FC ‘Poltava’. The possible place for stadium building is near M. Churay concert area. However, there are other options.

The stadium is expected to be put in commission by 2012. An approximate roominess is nearly 20 thousand of people. It will be the only football stadium in the region, which will match the contemporary requirements of European Football Association.
