Sukhomlynsky Vasyl Olexandrovytch
Vasyl Olexandrovytch Sukhomlynsky – scientist, an outstanding teacher of our time, member-correspondent of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences. Born in v. Vasylivka Olexandria district, Kherson province (now Kirovohrad region).
After graduating from Poltava Pedagogical Institute, worked as a teacher, then - the director of secondary school in
v. Pavlish Alexandria district of Kirovograd region.
All teaching activities of Vasyl Olexandrovytch took place in one rural school. Working with youth was the meaning of his life, his vocation. Without the din and the children's laughter, he could not imagine his existence.
During the years of his activity, Vasyl introduced many new methods in methodology of education.
His vision of pedagogy as a science presented in the works, which have been published in periodicals. In addition, 48 separate scientific works from the history and practice of educational work belong to him.
Sukhomlynsky is widely recognized not only in Ukraine but also far beyond for the fruitful work in education of the younger generation. His works, educational activities is a testament to an innovative approach to formulation and solution of important problems of modern education. Of particular value are the ideas and developments of Sukhomlynsky on the of development of the creative personality of the child.
It is known that in China and some European countries the methodology by an outstanding teacher-innovator and writer is used in educating the younger generation until that time.
